The Tagi tribe returned from Tribal Council with emotions flying everywhere. Sonja and Sean called out Richard for lying about his motives and wanted Sue and Kelly to align with them to take the men out next. Sue and Kelly considered aligning with them but knew their only true loyalty was to each other.
The next day, castaways competed for Reward. The challenge involved unearthing a treasure chest hidden underwater and carrying it back to camp and then opening it. The Pagong tribe made it back to back wins by hauling the chest back to camp. They won the contents of the chest, which included some comforts around camp, containing pillows, blankets and a tarp.
They headed back to camp feeling excited, as though the game was turning in their favour. Meanwhile at Tagi, the loss brought tensions to breaking point, with various members of the tribe accusing each other of failing to perform at the challenge. Richard thought Sonja did not bring anything to the table and had to go next, while Sonja called out Richard, believing that he was running the show. Kelly started a fight with both parties, continuing her strategy to cause drama at camp and further destroying the relationship between the opposing alliances.
Tagi was a mess heading towards the Immunity Challenge, which was to create a stretcher to rescue one tribe member stranded in the jungle. Tagi managed to put their differences aside and pull off the victory, rescuing the stranded Kelly from the jungle while Pagong misread their map and failed to find Colleen in time.
Pagong was headed for Tribal and Greg needed to secure Ramona's vote and have her join up with him, Gervase and Colleen. Greg believed that Gervase and Colleen were tight and so promised Ramona a Final Two deal in order to secure her vote. Ramona was not convinced about Greg's honesty, having already witnessed Greg develop a secret alliance with B.B.
At Tribal Council, the two factions of the Pagong tribe were evident, with Gretchen, Jenna and Joel believing they were in the majority with Ramona and Gervase, Colleen and Greg trying to sway Ramona to their side.
Ramona ultimately stuck with her original alliance which banded together to take out the loudest tribe member Gervase in a 4-3 vote, with the minority voting for Joel.
